My son's first hunt

I took my son out for his first hunt. He was carrying his Rascal 22LR. Rabbits were the target. Success! And I got it on video. He had a blast! We ended up with 2 bunnies for dinner. After his first bite he said "This is some of the best meat I've ever tasted." I'm looking forward to our next outing.

Very cool! It is crazy what happens in the woods with animals when you have a kid. It is almost like they get a freebie. I spotted the deer my 9yo son shot last season at 4:55pm he shot it at 5:23pm after a whole lot of breathing and trying to calm himself. He couldn't see it for prob 5 min and then another 10 to get it in the scope. I'll never forget it. Well done Dad for getting the young'n in the woods. Absolutely love seeing the next generation of hunters coming up.
