284 Win anyone using

Thinking of re barring my 10 BAS to 284(7mm) all i need to do is change the barrel out, anyone have any thoughts is this good to do from 308

Both use a .473 bolthead. It shouldn't be a problem.

The short action may be a little tight if you are wanting to run the heavy 180 VLDs but as Dennis said, the conversion should be simple.
