Axis recoil pad removel

I know it has been covered on here before but i cant find it , how do i remove the recoil pad on the axis .?

Remove the rear sling swivel stud then gently press down on the tab and it will come out. Be careful though to much pressure and the tab will break.

yes, i manhandled the tab(on top of stock) on mine not knowing what to expect and i broke it. after i put it together i JB welded the tab hole and sanded and painted it.
