I can't wait to start some load development for this rifle. I used to have a pretty extensive setup in my living room. My bachelor pad reloading setup was pretty awesome. Those were the days.

Looks good BlueDog! 2/3 MOA using factory ammo in the real world is usable accuracy. I am interested to see what you pull out of it with your reloads. And that is a great looking rifle!

BlueDog I have the same Savage Axis SR 308. Could you send me the details of ur Axis? I would like to do the same to mine. I also has Savage Axis .223 re-chamberd to 300 blk out. I would love to have that rifle done also.
