OK so I shot back to back clean scores last weekend Saturday at Clyde N.Y. and Sunday Towanda P.A. shoot. Bull is worth 5 points at theses match's.

Results Saturday 200-33X

Sunday 200-31X
So in real world of both days and counting bulls as 10 points would give me a 800-64X!

I placed 2nd at both match's though,, there is better out there :( lol

Here's one match

Needed a place to log my data.

Trued everything up using this JBM calculator based on drop at 1000 yards, with 100 yard zero. I can come up 34 MOA with the NightForce 8-32 NXS and gain 20 more MOA with the NP-R1 reticle. Using a 0 MOA EGW base.

Nice shooting....ive got an nxs 8 32x56 with the np-r1...love that scope just wish it was a 34mm tube...i think im going to sell it or trade it in for an ATACR-T....i have an ATACR with the MOAR reticle that i also love but the reticle is thick.

What are you shooting?

Thanks guy's I am shooting the EABCO accuracy barrel in 6 BR Norma. Hornady 105 HPBT and 28.5 Varget.. As you can see I can get out to 1400 yards before bullet goes transonic, and there is enough usable scope to get there without putting on the 20 MOA base. I don't see how you can go wrong with the NP-R1 reticle. I can see bullet holes on the white painted metal I put up at 1000 yards,, when the mirage isn't too bad.

Have you ever actually shot it at 1400?
I did watch a guy shoot one at 1220 from our yard here and was surprised it did so well.
He could have gone further but i think he decided to quit while he was winning lol.

No I haven't shot 1400 with it, 1000 yards is the farthest I have ever shot so far.

I am planing on getting a .300 winmag and shooting the Berger 230's out to a mile or possibly 2000 yards. I won't shoot it very much though because I will have to walk the target out down a valley and up the other side,, then walk back. Not to mention going back to get the targetLOL.

Shooting at a mile is one thing and hitting things at a mile is another.
At least on a consistant basis. To put that in perspective, i could no doubt
introduce you to at least 50 die hard long range hunters here in this area.
It is also one of the premier long range hunting areas in the east. That said
i only know one guy who even claims to have shot a deer at one mile. And that over a more than 40 year time frame.
A 300 win mag is a fine long range cartridge. But if your intended use includes
eastern hunting at those type distances, then your kidding one guy and it aint me. lol.
Anyway theres an easier way to shoot so you dont have to be walking back and forth.
Unless you need to see your group of coarse. I cant post pics cause im not as smart as a cave man.
But i have some i could email you. I your interested pm me an email address.
As im typing this a very large bear walked within 20 feet of the side door. It saw me move inside
and just ambled down across the front yard then on down the middle of the road and out of sight.
