New to Savage sote

I live and work in Alberta Canada as a machinist. I currently own a model 116 top loader Savage. I also own a lathe and was planning to rebarrel it to a .280 AI, but first things first gotta power up the 14 x 60" lathe!

Welcome aboard. I'm pretty jealous about the lathe, machinists are held in pretty high regard in my book. (I was sure I wanted to be a machinist in high school, heck, I still do! But then I learned of the depth of mathematics a good machinist draws from and I sadly left that notion behind.) Glad you joined us!
