Shortly I am going to purchase one of these rifles. More than likely I will shoot targets more than hunting with it, but I want that option as well. I am confident the 12 LRP will do the target shooting with friends out to 1000 yards but may be a bit heavy for hunting.

What would the model 10 with the tapered barrel be like for the long range shooting I know this would probably be the better hunting option. I guess the second question would be the stocks. The 12 LRP with the HS Presion stock should be better than the accu stock am I thinking this correctly?

Thanks in advance
Jim

All things being equal, short stiff barrels are more accurate than longer ones.
I carry a 19+# 10FP hunting, so a "heavy gun" is not something that causes me to lose sleep.

ANYTHING that can be misconstrued as a rifle stock, is better than the crap-u-stock.
