Finally made the Hornady 140gr work! I used processed 308 necked down to 260 LC Brass. I purchased from a gent out of Concho AZ. 50 Bucks for 100. Can't go wrong. I didn't do anything to the brass. Simply loaded them up with CCI 200 primers, 41.5gr of IMR 4350, seated pills at different depths and hit pay dirt @ .020 from the lands.
5 shot pattern @ 100 yard's.
What's great is that I purchased a total of 300 pieces of his processed necked down LC BRASS. I went thru everyone making sure the necks weren't damaged which they weren't. Primed all of them with CCI standard large rifle and set them aside ready to load.
There's some writing I scribbled at the lower center section on the target paper but that was for a different load.
