Model 116 - Missing Action BOlt?

I recently purchased a used Savage model 116, 7MM Rem Mag. It has a hinged floor plate, bottom release. The front bolt holding the floor plate is in place. There is a hole in the stock approximately 3/4" in front of the floor plate that is missing. Does any one know the size of this bolt is it round head allen? Also where can I purchase this bolt?

That hole is for the the "accu-wedge screw". If the screw is missing, so is the wedge. The wedge insured that the recoil lug was tight against the lug stop in the aluminum frame. You are better off without the wedge, as the previous owner no doubt figured out. The wedge came in the first generation accustocks and was soon abandoned for the 2nd generation without the wedge. The wedge has a tendancy to break through the screw hole, and gave more headaches than benefits.
