Is there an Accutrigger available to replace the XP trigger? I bought my Savage Axis XP in .308 with Realtree camo stock today and have read about the stiff trigger pull.I have also ordered a replacement spring off ebay but an curious about an Accutrigger.Would the Accutrigger be a drop in fit if available or need a gunsmith. Thanks for any responses.

If you are a paid member here sometimes you'll find an Accu trigger for sale in the classifieds. But if you're not married to the idea of an Accu trigger just pick up a rifle basix Sav-1.

Give Jim a call at Northland Shooters Supply. He can tell you all you need to know about the SAV-1.

I put a Sav-1 on my Axis XP as I read somewhere the accu-trigger will not fit nor work.

requires alteration to fit. there's an article floating around here somewhere that's goes through the process.
