I just got my mcmillian today and just need to get my DBM from Pacific tool and gauge. I didnt realize till after you almost need to have them do that part of the gun since the core will be cut into trying to do it post production.
However, I don't want something like a stockpack or kytex rests. I really like the integrals. Like a KMW loggerhead. This guy (http://www.savageshooters.com/showthread.php?22461-FCP-HS-Precision-stock-adjustable-cheek-install-pic-heavy) has a pretty cool write up using bedding compound so I thought his might be a good model to follow. I have experience with fiber glass, just not with this method. What do you all think? I do want to do this my self tho. You can't get the satisfaction of shooting a rifle you had someone else do!
