I'm an all around rifle looney! Love to punch holes in paper about as much as I like being in the woods hunting deer and hogs! For the most part, I have pretty much shot Rugers and Remington's my whole life. I never owned a Savage until about 3 months ago. I bought a model 12, heavy bbl, in 22-250. The gun is full on factory and shoots bug holes! I was sold! Last week, I bought a plain jane model 10 in 308win that I'm going to play with. Just seems natural to join a site committed to this brand. I'm heading to a gunshow today to see if I can find a heavy 308 bbl for my new rifle. Yup, the bug has bitten me! Looking forward to learning some good stuff here!
