After installing my LDT MSS chassis I attempt to put in the AICS mag and it will not go in far enough to lock into the stock. It looks like on this older action that the bottom of the action has metal there preventing the mag from going in all the way. Any suggestions on what to try to get it to seat correctly? Dremel the bottom part of the action some?

I had an LSS for a short action that was designed for either SF or CF. I had a SF rifle installed and had zero problems with magazine.
It feed fine and worked great.

Can you post some pics?

This is unusual, but we have seen this once before. Is this a stagger feed action?
You would indeed have to open up the action a little.

Call us any time for assistance!

I took about a .25in off the action on the rear of the magazine cavity and the magazine is locking in now.
