I'm sure I asked this question before I just can't find the information. I have a 112 single shot in 223 (pre-accutrigger)
it has a very flimsy synthetic stock. What model Savage stocks will fit this model? I believe someone stated a BVSS might work? thanks Bob

The first questions that's needs to be answered is, "is it a long, short, or intermidate action?". Once this defined then I would guess that a singe shot (no maginazne) would fit into any stock that matches your action screw spacing. If I'm incorrect then others will offer a more complete (correct) answer soon.

Its a 112 long action, single shot (no magazine) the hole spacing is 5.125. I seem to recall someone on this site said a BVSS stock from a single stack action would work?

I just reviewed the FAQ regarding action screw spacing. A long action should have a screw spacing of 5.062 and has not changed since its introduction. With that in mind I still think that any stock built for a Savge long action will fit your single shot action. It dosent matter if it's a stagger feed, center feed, with or without bottom metal. If it fits a Savage long action you should be OK, unless you have a left handed action.
