Just bought my first Savage rifle. Have been avid hunter shooting mostly Remington and Tikka. Bought a Savage Axis in 308 as a project gun. Going to convert to 7-08 or 260. Leaning towards 7-08 as I'm loading for 7 mm mag presently. Lots of .284 bullets in hand. Happy to meet you all. God Bless.
