IF you guys haven't heard you can up grade to Windows 10 "FREE" as of 7-29-2015 provided your running a licensed copy of Window 7 SP1, 8 or 8.1. I'm running a pre-release evaluation copy on a old Dell 1550 previously w/Vista. Although it was a new installation the old files on the Vista disc were left intact although some applications had to be reinstalled, touch pad driver, browsers, etc.
If you currently system is running 7,8-8.1 you should the Window's icon displayed in the task bar to reserve your free copy of 10. If not you'll have to use the Windows Update and install KBs 2952664 and 3035584.
