Ring height recommendations

I am finally beginning my rebuild and need some help with ring height. I currently have a long action flat back which I will be fitting with a EGW 20moa base. I have a Mcgowen varmint contour barrel on the way and have Burris Mtac 4.5-14x42 that I picked up this weekend. I am planning on getting the Burris XTR 30mm rings but I am unsure which ones I am needing. I think the high rings will be about right but don't want them to be too tall or too short. I am still waiting on parts or I could probably do some measuring and figure out what I am needing. If I need to wait I will but would like to get them ordered. Thanks

I'll look when I get to work, but I believe mediums work well with a 50mm and the 20moa, so you'd be fine with the low rings. I just need to verify what I ordered

The bell for the objective lens measures 56mm. Not sure if that changes anything.

I am still waiting on parts or I could probably do some measuring and figure out what I am needing. If I need to wait I will but would like to get them ordered.

Once you have the barrel installed and the base mounted, then you should be able to measure what you'll need...
