I have been struggling with the decision over a year about my desire for a big bore.
I want a 416 in the Savage Bear Hunter. They don't make that.
2nd option is to do 416 in Ruger Guide Gun.
3rd option is Savage Bear Hunter in 375.
I have finally (pathetically took over a year) decided to order the Savage Bear Hunter 375 ruger.
I am on vacation for a 1.5 weeks and someone asked me to work a 1.5 days for them. The pay is the same as the rifle.
I took it as a sign from above that I must order this rifle now.
I like that bear hunter because:
1. all my savages are accurate.
2. I like the stainless/synthetic.
3. I like the looks of it.
4. with the on/off muzzle brake, maybe my wife can shoot it too.
WHO ELSE ALREADY HAS THIS RIFLE?
