I am liking what I have heard about them but I want to be able to put a tradional blue finish on them.

Thanks

They do make a Duracoat finish that matchs factory bluing very well. Their barrels do shoot very well, In fact I'm buying back a Rifle in 260 I sold last year cause I miss it.

Does L W do the Duracoat or do you send it to someone else?

Thanks

you will have to send it some where else, and the LW's are SS for the Savage prefits

You'd have to send it to somebody else, I'm using Kevin Cram at Mountour County Rifles to do a Muzzle Brake and Duracoat my Barreled action.

I've used satin "Aluma-Hyde II" from Brownells very durable when fully cured which takes about a week unless you let the part dry in 90 degree heat which cures it in 48 hours.
