As promised in a previous thread, I'm posting a couple of pic's of my new (to me) 1907 Savage. Serial# 168022. Not in as nice of condition as some I've seen on the forums, but these are hard to come by up here and this one although a little cosmetically challenged, is surprisingly a great shooter. After I got it home, I cleaned/ inspected it and immediately took it out for a test drive. For 99 years old, I'm quite impressed. :)

Nice pistol. Never owned one of the old pocket pistols. I look at them from time to time on GunBroker, but it's not very high on my priority list.

Like the old advertisememts used to say, like an extension of your pointing finger. Savage pistols are addictive, I have like 9 of them now, including a rather hard to find 1915 .380 which is in nice shape.

Just picked up a 1907 .32 caliber serial 935XX, shipped November 20, 1913. I squirreled it away for a few days until I can get a better look at it, just too good a deal to walk away from. Still learning about these

Great little pistols, I have a warning though they are similar to Lay's Potato Chips, bet you can't do with just one ;). I have 9, 1907, 1915 & 1917 models. I like the 1907 the best. Now you need to order Bailey Brower's Savage Pistols book. The price of this book has doubled-tripled lately. There are some used ones here for 23.00. A very well written and illustrated book, I highly recommend it!

It's a Savage Model 1907 mgf in 1913, so 102 years old.

Hello there,
I figure mine dates to about 1916 by the serial#. I'll have to get a historical letter at some point for it.

Nice Pistol!

Where's the "Like" icon!!!!!!!! I know you have said you don't shoot them, but I wouldn't be able to contain myself. Very impressive!
