Can anyone who owns a stockade coyote stalker and/or mule deer please post any pics and how you like them? What would make a better stock for a regular hunting rifle in .270?

I had a Coyote Stalker and they are very nice. Comfortable to shoulder, but the thing I didnt like about it for a carry rifle was trying to take the safety off while having my hand gripping the thumbhole. On a conventional stock its easier as you can just slide your thumb up, but on this one you have to slide your thumb out of the hole, up to the safety, then back in the thumbhole. Not a big deal but takes some gettin used to.

I don't know how much you wanna spend but the Manners MCS-SL is hands down the best stock I've seen for a Deer gun made for a Savage. The stock carrys well and points great, well worth the money.

The pics are a 6.8lb(Talley Rings and Ultra light Leupold 3-9x33) in 260rem I built for a friend.
