I purchased a Mark II BWTVXP .22 rifle recently from a friend. It was made in 2007 (per Savage customer service).
I want to attach a Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42 (DBK-1002) using Burris Zee Rings (High 420087).

The Vortex scope came with an "Attention" tag recommending using an inch/pound torque screwdriver to mount the scope. However, there were no specs in the Vortex manual designating what torque setting to use. I assume the torque recommendation pertains to the ring top screws and the base screw for each ring.
Can someone provide guidance regarding the torque specs?

(Maybe my question should better be addressed to Vortex or Burris. If so, please advise.)

Thanks.

20-25 inch pounds is plenty for both rings and bases.
