Tactical Medalist 5 on a 12 BVSS?

Can anyone confirm that the Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist Style 5 will fit onto a Savage 12 BVSS? B&C advertises the stock as fitting a "4.40" Centerfeed," but I'm not sure what that references. Thanks in advance for the information, and for any other comments / advice you'd like to give.

"4.40" refers to the distance (in inches) between the action screws, measured from the center of each hole.
The other item you should verify is whether the stock is set up for top or bottom bolt release, although a few minutes working carefully with a dremel tool usually makes that a non-issue.
