Hi there.
I have been researching for an other bolt rifle and I decided on a savage 308 hog hunter.
I read a ton of reviews, comparisons and forums and finally yesterday I pulled the trigger and bought me one.
I enjoy shooting and I shoot all my guns a lot. From my Remington 700 LTR with vortex HD optics that I can shoot consistently 0.5 moa to my mini 14 carbine and my classy LRB m14.
I got a few shots with the savage yesterday as soon as i bought it and i Loved the action. I think I will setup this one for hunting with a leupold vx-r scope that I already have and probably a two base scope base mount for easy loading. I will be reading the forums now to learn about these guns and share my experiences with other savage enthusiasts.
