Yes, the Rem Brass will work in a Norma Chamber. I think Early R-P Brass had a longer neck, But the stuff I get measures 1.556" and is consistant. I just fire-form it to the Norma Chamber. I'm sure you could find your answer on 6mmbr.com. But it works and works well, I pay .55 a piece for the primed brass.

The biggest difference I have found is Rem brass (usually 7mm BR is what I buy) has a standard flash hole and Norma and Lapua brass has a smaller one that won't work with some decaping pins. I neck my Lapua up to 7mm because that is what I mainly shoot - can't tell you if there are slight chamber differences (other than "no turn neck" or tight neck).

IIRC, originial Remington BR was .020" shorter than the current Norma BR and as stated, has the large primer pocket/flash hole.

PA Hog........fantastic group! I'll be glad when I can get my Lothar Walther BR barrel to shoot like that. My best group to date was .355" @ 100 yards.
