Decided it was time for another 204 Ruger after selling my last one a few years back.

Savage Stainless stagger feed action
Timed and Trued by SSS
SSS bolt handle
SSS fluted bolt
SSS competition trigger
24" heavy sporter barrel from Black Hole Weaponry
Boyd stock pillar bedded
Burris scope bases and Signature Zee rings
Vortex Viper 4.5-20 x 44
All the metal was bead blasted to match.

Looks like this one will be a shooter. Just started load work up and trying CFE 223 getting a solid .5 MOA and less groups with 40g vmax. Still going to try some different powders and bullets to dial in a load. Goal is to get close to factory loaded speeds while keeping it under .5 MOA.

Well i got out with a buddy and did a little shooting today. 100 yard groups are showing up at or under .5 MOA regularly. Playing around at a little more distance and collecting drop data today it looks like this rifle will be a keeper. Pictured is a 300 yard group right at .5 moa. Shooting 40vmax over 29.1 g of CFE223 in hornay brass with CCI BR-4 primers. Loads chronoed out at 3750 with a ES in the high singles to low teen depending on the group. Still need to play with seating depth to see if anymore improvement can be found.
