I'm thinking about doing a folding chassis on my Hog hunter. I need experiences and pictures of your setup if you would please.

Doesn't have the folding stock adapter on it yet due to backorder but the chassis itself is fantastic. Rock solid platform. Personally I probably wouldn't use the folding stock option but it will make removing the bolt and cleaning happen without having to lower the cheekpiece.

I have a .308 in one with a folding stock I have a 6MM BR without the folding option guess which one fits easily into the safe, which one travel easier?
My next purchase will be the folding adapter.

Rock solid easy to setup.

Ignore the buttpad (installed upside down by my smith) and the scope rings (recently put on more height appropriate rings)

This is my 223. I have one in 6.5 Creedmoor and have another on order for a 300 WM. I LOVE this chassis. All my rifles have this chassis now so it is very easy to switch back and forth between all of them. In addition, they also all sport Vortex PST 6-24 FFP MIL/MIL EBR-2C reticle.

WOW, those are some tall rings.

They were on my old stock. I have Vortex PMR High (1.26") rings now and the scope just rides the rail.

I've noticed on most of the XLR's I see a lot of higher rings than what look to be needed for barrel clearance. Is this due to stock weld/eye relief issues with the set up?

I like my mcree chassis, I have two, a folder and a non folder. This is a 223 I put together for my nephew to shoot. Krylon sponge camo, it's FDE underneath.

just a reminder you will need taller rings if you put them in an xlr chassis. you lose the drop at the comb due to the straight stock so your eye will be much higher than before.
