I posted this here as I think it will get the most coverage...

Recently I asked Boyds if they would consider making an M40 Style Hardwood Stock for the Savage 10/110 action...I pointed out that Manners, McMillan and B&C all made them and were successful sellers but the Manners and McMillan were very pricey and took 6-8 months to deliver. That B&C only supported the Remington 700 LA/SA...so that left us Savage owners with little to no real feasible options.

It should have wide fore end for stability, large barrel channels for heavy/varmint barrels, be inlet for LA/SA 110/10 actions, Monte Carlo cheek piece. Possibly inlt for modern DBM bottom metals and in Boyds laminates and walnut for the purest...

Boyds emailed me back and had me go to this page and advised that they were in fact intersted in meeting shooters needs and wants and if enough people requested they would consider it...so if you like the idea...hit'em up at this link...in the comments add M40 Style, Monte Carlo Cheek rise, Wide fore end, large barrel channels and in laminate and Walnut...

I did not know that...however B&C has all but refused to support the LA Savage
