1st barrel swap

ive been reading about some of you guys doing a swap,and i was wondering what all it involves?
is there a post that would walk a new guy through it? what parts and tools will i need.
its probally simple to someone thats done it but i dont want to mess it up.
i want to go from 22 250 to 243 for deer season
