Anyone shot these and how were the group sizes ? I found these at the local Cabela's store for $14 box with the military discount. Is the Federal military brass as good as the Lake City stuff?

I have shoot literal mountains of battle-pack ammo, for the same reason you are looking at it; it's cheap.
But don't fool yourself into thinking it's anything except that.


It will reliably fire, and generally hit the area of the thing you want.

Yea, I know it won't win any matches. I guess at that price I should get a couple boxes to stash away. At the very least I can use the brass a few times later.

The brass is fine if it is federal military brass or gold metal match but their run of the mill brass can be problematic in guns with questionable headspace meaning towards the wide side of sammi spec.
