Yes a savage, paid just over 5 for it.

Single round loaded to site in. Have to cut/weld to lengthen the mag box. Midway has the longer followers. Mill the action for the longer box. So if you want a repeater, it's a lot of extra work.

Thank you, that's what I was afraid of.

I wonder if using CDI bottom metal/.338 lapua mags would make it any easier.
