Hello All,

I just purchased my first Savage rifle, a 16 FHSAK 300 WSM with a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5x14-40 scope. The previous owner used it a handful of times then it went in the safe.

I am looking forward to getting it out to the range!

You'll like everything about it except the velocities achieved with the short barrel length. I've got a 116FLSAK in 300 WinMag and every time I shoot it over the chronograph I find myself wishing there was another 4" of barrel.
