Hello all, after many months of lurking I have decided to join this forum not only to continue learning but to hopefully contribute to others as well. I've been shooting since I could ride a bike, and really enjoy rimfires and shotguns. No hunting, but plinking, target, trap, skeet, and 5 stand shooting for me.
Savage seems to me as one of the last that produces quality, affordable guns. As of now, I have, or have had a 64G, MK2FVT, 19 NRA, and a Model 99 in 300 savage. The 64 is hands down my favorite, even if it's the most inconsistent firearm I have ever owned. Something about the underdogs that I find appealing. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum.
