111 or axis?

Hi all. Okay just started getting into longer range shooting. Currently have a model 11 .308 that I have ordered a new barrel for from apache gun works. Question is LGS had a model 111 in 7mag and a couple of axis 1 in 243 other in 22-250. Which to buy for hunting. Mainly deer but the occasionally unlucky yote. most likely buy a 6.5 cm barrel for it or just throw my .308 sporter barrel off the 11 on it. 111 price was 375 $ axis was 380 to 415$So lets hear your opinions.Never done anything to bolt so if went 111 would be whole new territory for me.

I would just put the .308 barrel on the 11. Between the 111 and the Axis? 111

I don't think there is anything wrong with an Axis for a cheap hunting gun, and 7mag is a fantastic North American hunting cartridge.

That said, the 111 is clearly the better rifle.
