This thing is really accurate. Below are some pics of a couple of 200yd 3 round groups. At 100yds it was just making 1 ragged hole. I'm really liking this rifle. The load is 42.8 gr of IMR 4064 under a 168gr SMK in a Hornady case.

Yep that is what Savages do. They will do that with store bought ammo too.

I've shot some of the best rifles in the world, and have to say this Savage is right up there with some of those. All of the 308's I've used were based off the Rem 700. This is my first Savage, paid about $370 for the rifle and about $250 for the glass, rings and base. Still has Tupperware stock and I haven't even touched the accu-trigger. Not too shabby...

I've got about 120 rounds through it now and it took me a little while to find the load it likes. I'll start pushing it out 600+ yards and see how she does. But I'm pretty confident it will continue to impress.
