This is the stock & action I'm using for my 6.5 build, but being the impatient sort, I picked up a cheap cheap .308 bull barrel on eBay. The scope is a horrid Nikko Sterling, that I've found to be ok to 100yds, but useless beyond.
The idea of the practice build was mainly to give me some trigger time on a heavy bench gun before I fully commit to the actual build.
It's cost me well under $200 in addition to my ordered parts & I get to go shoot!

Be careful I did that with a 243 barrel until my 6BR barrel got here. I still have the 243 and it is an easy high .1 to low .2 5 shot group gun. So I had to get another action for the 6BR, well I guess having 8 or 9 good shooting heavy guns is not a bad thing.

Nice. Tell us how the thing shoots when you get a chance. Is that the B&C M40 stock?

****! Sometimes I wish I was living in the states. You guys can get away with all these cheap builds and stuff. I don't have that in Canada [emoji30]
