I was wondering if any of you have found the best bullet for accuracy out of the 7mm 08?

I do not own an Axis but I do shoot a couple different 7mm-08's. A bullet in the 120 to 140 range should shoot well. I load with Ramshot Big Game powder but several other powders will work great in it. For the most part mine seem to shoot most all bullet/powder combinations pretty well with the exception of the barnes bullets. The barnes however shoot well out of some of my other calibers.
Sierra makes a 140 HBPT in a game game king bullet that works well and I have shot nosler with good success.

I have had good luck with the Hornady 139gr Spirepoint.

My 7-08 is a Savage 11 with the slow twist. It shoots anything from 120 to 140 well. My two favorites are the 120 Nosler BT and the Hornady 139 IL.

bc160- where are you getting Big Game? I haven't been able to find it in stock anywhere at any price in about 2 years.

My deer hunting load for 7mm-08 is a 120gr Nosler BT over Ramshot Big Game.

I've been using the Barnes 140gr TSX over W760. Groups are routinely around 1/2 MOA

DKilla, sorry for the delay as i haven't been around to much lately. I haven't had to hard of a time finding Ramshot here in Utah. It shows up on the shelves of most all of the big stores (sportswharehouse, Cabala's). I have a small gun shop here in Eureka that has been able to order it for me in 8 pound kegs.
Interestingly enough i spoke with Ramshot about the "shortage" or lack of being able to find powder. The nice lady there told me they were not behind on shipping and was able to fill any order requested within a 2 weak lead time.
