Without adjusting the feed lips I bet it would with shorter COAL loads. If it won't feed it may just take tweaking the feed lips out just a bit.

I have a heavy barrel 22-250 Axis that I'm thinking of putting a heavy 6.5 Creedmoor barrel on. The 22-250 is very accurate so I'll probably keep the barrel for a later time. The 6.5 Creedmoor has me intrigued. I wonder if I could just find a .308 mag and it will fit my stock. I'm planning on a Boyds pro varmint, is the 22-250 and .308 mag the same length? Will they fit either stock, I figured the external dimensions are the same..

On the model 10 the only difference between the two magazines is about 1/8" difference on the feed lips. The feed lips for the 22-250 are slightly longer.
