Good send me your info, I have 13 Pcs of once fired Lapua Brass, that I need to get rid of before I talk myself into building a freakin barrel.

140VLD 52.5gr H1000
140VLD 56.5gr H-4350
140VLD 52.0gr IMR-7828
The 7828 loads hit right at 2850, the others were slower.
Thats all I have with me right now, the rest is at home on the PC

You're H4350 load seems a little hot compared to what I have read on 6mmbr and other sites.

No when I said send me your info, I meant your address I want to send "Give" them to you, so I am not tempted to build a barrel in this caliber, yes that is all it takes sometimes is a dozen or so Pcs of brass and I can Justify it. I say to myself "hey I already have the brass I am half way there" or something to that effect. I am weak.LOL

Dean

PS: I don't want to chuck them there Lapua's who does that.
PPS: I should have wrote free to a good home, and since I see that you load "Hot" I know that they are.LOL

And if I'd seen signs of pressure, I'd have backed off.
We hit 2850 and stopped there. White box Winchester 284 brass might have something to do with the load disparity. I had 10 boxes of new brass from my old Model 88 so we used it. We're also building hunting loads, not BR loads.

PM sent on the brass

I meant no disrespect, I thought it might have been a typo from what I have seen online.

No problem. It could be a typo. Like mentioned, I'm not in front of my PC, where the data is. I have the last range session on my iPad and I list 10 loads from 52.0-56.5 and the recorded velocities. If I fat fingered it, I did it 10 times. Stranger things have happened.

Actually believe it or not I was seriously considering a 22 X 284, Thanks for sparing me.

Dean, I feel your pain.....a few pieces of brass, or good deal on a set of dies....sets it all in motion lol

Hotolds442, a little off subject I know but do you use a special app to put your info in your ipad or just the word processor type already on your phone and copy it over? Thanks

I use the notes app on either the iPad or iPhone, entering all the loads I plan on shooting each trip. They both sync together, so each is supposed to have the same information. Then when I shoot a particular load, I add all of the chrono results and group size. I've found, more than once, that Apple can screw up data with the best of them, especially if I shoot in an area without cell coverage. One device has the correct info, the other - not so much....
I'm seriously considering going back to the old pencil and paper loadbook. I never had data errors with it.

Dean, I also feel your pain...
I had a couple hundred rounds of 300 WSM brass and then some jack wagon posts up an X-caliber in 6.5 WSM. But necking 270 WSM brass was so much easier so I bought 300 of them. So there I was with 300 WSM brass and guess what shows up locally? A smoking deal on a 300 WSM. Now I have both, lol. I really need to get rid of this 338 Winchester and 300 Weatherby brass or I'll need a bigger safe....

Thanks Dan, Ive been kinda looking for something to streamline my load data, groups, trial loads etc. Ive got an pdf formatted load sheet Ill add my data to then save and print it off, then when I get back home, Ill open it and enter the new info I penciled in. Just seems like there would be an easier way to compile everything.

Somewhere I'm sure "There's an app for that"
I just haven't found it yet.
