model 1905 target rifle

Hello I am new to the forum I have several vintage savage 22 s
The most recent is a 1905 target rifle it is missing the schutzen (sp?) butt plate any idea where I could find one numrich dose not even list the rifle have seen pictures but none to handle .

That will be one tough buttplate to find.

I have a spare 1905 stock but it has no buttplate.

Does the gun have any type of butt plate right now? 1905's also could be ordered with 'shotgun' style butt plates - the Swiss butt plate was standard, but it will not fit on a stock that was fitted for a shotgun style plate.

It is cut for the target butt plate have toyed with the idea of buying another one removing the butt plate casting a copy then selling the extra gun . Instead just spent couple of hours forging a cresent butt plate to match the cut of the stock almost there.
