If your talking about the one 1899Sav (Steve) has, they're knock offs.

The same guy that sold it to Steve was selling them inlaid with Winchester and Remington logo's as well.

Did a search on the 24 forum & found the thread
If it is the same as I can't find a pic
He must have been knocking them off for a few years
I brought a 1899 of a distant uncle who threw it in along with a Indian head
belt buckle That he claimed he got years ago when he brought a Savage Shot gun
I brought the 1899 off him 15 years ago or so
I'll get a pic of the 2 together
Cheers

Sounds Like a good story even from a distant uncle

Yep, that's the same watch the guy was selling on Ebay, he had about 5 of the Savage watches and a bunch of Winchester and Browning watches.

The belt buckle however is a one of a kind, never seen one like that before, wonder what year they produced them, anything stamped on the back of it?

AHH
well those watch knock offs must have been around a while
No there is no markings on the buckle which to me makes it doubtful
That it did come with his Savage Shotgun
You would think that if Savage gave belt buckles away as a promo
They would be marked for advertising
Cheers
