Guys I am pretty new here, but after alot of research I am hoping to build a 6mm BR. I was looking at the 6PPC, but with the brass prep I figured the 6BR would be better. I have a 308 staggered feed action here with the accutrigger, and was wondering if there is anyway to get the gun to feed the 6mmBR round reliably? I am hoping to build a sporter weight barrel for plinking and informal target shooting. What I have researched here shows that some people have been able to get it to feed reliably from a staggered feed while others say that there is no hope. Any help will be appreciated. Is it worth trying to use my spare action, or do I absolutely need to try and find a centerfeed?

Thanks
Brad

Simple fix..use a shot adapter plate....I have a heavy 6BR but its an older solid bottom single shot

So is there no way of making it a repeater? Is the single shot the only option if I have a staggered feed action?

There is a guy or 2 on here who has made it happen. So just keep it going and someone will have an answer to your question.

6mmBr will not feed out of a staggered magazine.

You will need to modify a staggered feed stock to accept a centerfeed mag.
I did one. It took a lot of work but it is doable.

I think you will also need to extend the ejection pin.
Not really extend though, you mod it so it will stick farther out.

All in all its really better just to single feed it.
