I put a rifle basix trigger on ,it's the 1-3lb one,in my aftermarket stock when I tighten the rear action screw down, when I close the bolt the trigger releases, sometimes, not all the time.
I haven't looked into yet,but I figure I probably need to remove some material somewhere, just wondering if you guys can tell me what to look for?

Check above the rear trigger guard screw to see if trigger arm is contacting the stock. Remove trigger guard to see.

Rifle Stock?

Model & Caliper?

What is the breaking point of the trigger completely off the stock?

Is the stock bedded?

Back off the rear action screw. Start at 0 and work up. Start tighten up the screw, 4 ft lbs per turn until the problem starts. Let us know that figure.

Sounds like something is binding, probably in the stock mounting area.

Does the action act like it's rocking in the stock (screws loose)? If everything is correct, you could tighten the mounting screws as tight as you want and it won't bump fire.

Has anyone filed on the sear?

Had the same problem a couple days ago, I had to open up the trigger gaurd. It was contacting the trigger and releasing the sear when I tightened the rear screw
