The only one primers I could buy were Federal large rifle magnum primers. F215M

I will use them with Lapua Scenar L 175gr.

Is there any problem with this primers for .308 ?

I know, I have to reduce my powder and start again to find the best... ( I was using CCI BR-2,but no chance to buy at this moment.

Do you anybody use these ?

Not a problem if you know you are probably going to get increased pressures and alter your loads accordingly. But looks like you already know that.

Sell or trade the 215M primmers! Using those in a 308 is like using high performance race fuel in a Kia!!!!!! LOL

I'd be willing to bet that you could trade those 215M primers for standard LR or LR match primers locally. Heck, I'd trade you if you were in the western WA area. The Federal primers are the only ones I run in the RUM based cartridges. They're like gold in most areas!

I tried some in my subsonic loads and it made no difference at all over my usual 210......Just work up conservatively like you always should anyway.
As long as you do not plug in an existing load that was established using different components no one including you or your rifle will know the difference.

I normally run Fed F210M primers in my 308 with Lapua Scenar 185gr but ran out. I run 43gr Varget and tested some WLRM and the groups tightened up. I need to re visit this sometime soon as I'm still doing load testing. I was very surprised...
