Any body out there reloading Hornady 58g vmax for your 200 Stevens in 243? How's it like'um and what you using for powder? Would like to try some if I can find some to buy. Somebody must be shooting them in something ' cause nobody seems to have them in stock.

My Stevens 200 loves them. I shoot them in Win brass over 43grns of IMR 4064 with CCI 200s. It will put 3 touching @ 100 and deadly on pds out to 300. Very explosive. Would prob shoot well at farther ranges but that's as far as I've taken it so far.

I load these for my savage .243 and my brothers stevens .243, I use 42.5-43gr of varget and the CCI-BR primers in win. brass. Almost the same exact results as mattri has with the 4064 powder.
