We just got one here about 7-8 months ago.
My wife made them put up a picture of me by the greeter where you walk in.

It's a picture of my face with a red circle and a line thru it. I'm not allowed to go there unescorted...

Distance should be about equal from Philly to A/C as to Cabelas in Hamburg?
An easier drive to A/C no doubt. So Trump moves out and Bass Pro moves in?
Seems to me i remember the people of A/C being promised great things when Trump moved in. lol

Probably not the best location for shooting gear. Probably a very limited selection outside of fishing gear. Jersey laws you know... Just my guess though
I can see it now; State troopers waiting down the road for people to leave with a bag full of ammo heading for the PA border. Hello Sir, License and registration please; oh is that a
Bass Pro bag on your seat. PLACE YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL! LACE YOUR FINGERS TOGETHER! DONT EXPLETIVE MOVE....

Call me paranoid. . I would not shop there if you paid me.

Theres a really big Bass Pro in Harrisburg. 2 floors as i recall.
Probably a little further from Philly and also turnpike tolls.
Cabelas are opening a new store in S C just below the N C line south of Charlote on hwy 26.
So that will become a stopping place for me on the drive north.

Bass Pro in Harrisburg is a nice store. Not quite like Cabelas in Hamburg but a nice place for sure. I stop there frequently when heading to our camping spots.

So im guessing your a member of an rv camping club having monthly campouts, many of which are in the Lancaster area?

No, not a member of a club but we do head out that direction often. there are lots of campgrounds out that way.

When I came over to America, my wife told me I could have one visit to Bass Pro, well on the third visit on that holiday I had a job to get her out of the shop and she came out with more than I did.

There's a new Bass Pro opening up just north of Austin, Texas. Can't wait! For me it'll be about 70 miles closer than the drive to Cabelas.
