Shot my first Muskrat today

I have been stalking this muskrat for five days now. I was about to call it s trip when he popped into the water across the pond. I have been practicing shooting all week by shooting turtles when they stick their heads up in the water. Got some photos, but have to wait for the niece to get them off her camera for me. It was a great sense of accomplishment after waiting 5 days for it to show itself. I missed a shot last i was up here and was not going to waste another opportunity.

U MUST NOT LIVE IN ND I HAVE SHOT OVER 150 MUSKRATS THIS YEAR SO FAR ARE LIKE LOCUS AOUND HERE THEY DIG UNDER THE GRAVLE ROADS AND THEN THEY WASH OUT 17HMR OR 9MM CARBINE DOES A GOOD JOB

LOL!!!! No I was in Missouri on the family farm pond. There may be others, but this was the only one that came out and showed itself to me :) 150!
