What's the difference between a 110 and a 110FP?

The FP is a law enfocement model and it would be fitted with a varmint contour barrel and a synthetic stock. A 110 FP is probably either a 30/06 or 300win mag. Most 110's are sporter hunting rifles.

I believe the FPs usually have a matte finish as well. I remember looking at my 110FP in 300 win mag vs other 110s I used to see on the rack at local gun shops the FP trim savages typically had a bead blasted matte blue finish wheres the 110s in other trims had a normal blued finish. And most of the FPs had the big round bolt knob versus the smaller sporter ones.

You are correct,, .308 is probably the most common of all the fp's. The fp's with accu trigger's are adjustable down to 1 1/2 pounds unlike the regular accutriggers.
