looking to biuld a model 11 into a f class rig got a stock ? about a boyds

looking at turning a model 11 hunter into a sigle shot f class rifle question is it is currently a detachable mag and i'm looking at a boyds varment pro but they dont make one in a bull/varment for a mod. 11 detach mag . since i am wanting to make it a single shot rifle could i get this

and fill the mag well area with filler/ devcon or something similar?

That should work, providing its for the same method of bolt release that your action uses.

it is top bolt release so my thinking is yes it would work ...... would it be better to put a internal mag in the stock and use a sled or fill it and let the shell ride the devron?

I am doing the same thing but converting mine with a model 10 blind mag so that I can get the larger barrel channel stock from Boyds.

I'd use a sled.

I picked up that stock a few years ago. Takes some sanding to fit just right, which is a good thing. It's a quality piece.
