I have a 12 gauge shotgun with a 26" barrel with a polly choke, it looks like the browning A5 but see no model number identification the serial number is 13XXX any idea on the model, age, and value?

If the poly choke was factory then it's likely a 750AC. However, since it was so easy for a gunsmith to add a poly choke to a barrel it could possibly be a number of different models. Here's a list of all the Browning A5 based Savage shotgun models that were offered.

720 - Made from 1930-49

726 - 1931-49
Same as 720 but with 2 shell magazine

740C Skeet - 1936-49
Same as 726 with Cutts Compensator & skeet stock, 24-1/2" barrel

745 Lightweight - 1940-49
Same as 720 but with alloy receiver

750 - 1960-69

750SC - 1960-69
Same as 750 but with Savage Super Choke

750AC - 1960-69
Same as 750 but with Poly Choke

Here's a link with some good detailed photo's of a 750AC.

The front sight does not look the same and the choke does not say savage as in the picture. Also there is no engraving. Could the serial number give any indication of when the gun was made?
